A Million Little Pieces

這本書是去年回溫哥華過Christmas買的
因為當時在打折 而且是"Oprah's Book Club"
沒想到我才買的隔天 就看到最新的新聞:
James/作者 承認內容有部分造假
所以書被我丟入冷宮整整一年
最近被我翻出來讀了喔~

The story was told from James' point of view. He was an alcoholic and a drug-addict with criminal records in three states. James were sent to a treatment clinic by his parents. The clinic used this 12-step AA program to "cure" its patients and James was not a believer. He walked out of the clinic once but was persuaded and taken back by Leonard who was later found out to be a Vegas mafia. James then made a few friends in the clinic including former wrestling championing Matty, judge Miles, and Lily who he fall in love with. James quit alcohol and drugs cuz he believed in himself not in God and he succeed.

There is this book - Tao that gives James comforts and peace. I've checked..it's our 道教
